first time building a pc, won't be overclocking.

I agree, I wouldn't get that PSU. The EVGA 80+, or "1" series PSUs really shouldn't be used in this day and age. There are newer better PSUs out there now. The one SR71 listed isn't even more expensive. And it's quality is much better.

An i3 8100, out in a few days should be a better gaming chip at a slightly lower cost, only problem is the budget oriented motherboards won't launch until january, according to rumours.
