I am getting a new gaming pc built(india), following are the specs that i am going to select..
i5 7600k, Gigabyte z270md3h, 16gb ddr4, gtx 1060 6gb, hdd 1tb 7200rpm, sdd 250gb ....
The guy building the rig suggested a corsair vs650 but im not so sure because i wont be using my rig at home but in a hostel room where conditions are on the rough side and maintainence wont be easy, so i need the peace of mind but cant spend more than 10000 Rs.
I need to fit everything within 100000 rs and sadly not a lot remains as i also need to spend on a cabinet, dvd rom, peripherals etc....So which psu should i buy..

something like this would be much more balanced :)

PS:
there's no i5 6700k
either it's i5 6600k / i7 6700k
but i'd still go with the ryzen path as it's yield much more price/performance

Better stick to your setup. It's a good choice to choose a beefy cpu since the advancement there is slow.
Also you could even save some money by choosing a 550w psu. i am using one for a i7rig +r9 290 and lately 1080ti for years. Even with cpu and gpu oc it never drew more than 500watts at the wall! Without oc it was 400watts.
I would recommend a affordable gold rated psu like the Cougar GXS550. If you want to go for SLI later on choose the 750 version.

there's not SLI route for GTX 1060

I did consider a ryzen r5 1600 build..but im not too comfortable with it as i have never used an amd build before. My last was an i7 hp pavillion laptop(amd raedon gc) which i have used for 5 years now...my first game on it was Mass effect 3 and it played well enough..I am well aware that an r5 1600 is more future proof and takes less load but i still gravitate towards the i5 7600k.

well, if u're still opting for intel, better wait for coffelake, it's coming tomorrow, and and have more cores which should be more competitive with the Ryzen counterpart, let's just hope the intel doesn't screw it up (since for me, it seems like a desperate move from intel)

I am not interested in competitive gaming, i am just gonna play for my pleasure(ME Andromeda,Witcher 3, civ6,AC unity etc) so i dont thing I'll be getting too high fps but i will play some older titles like ME 1,2etc so im still confused about the monitor...i dont think 60hz will cut it. A few options i liked were Aoc g240pqu 24", asus vg248qe, acer gn246hl. Could i get away with anythinh cheaper?

there are a lot of price leaks already, some coffelake undercut the their kabylake counterpart, some only goes about 30$ more....
(at least on the MSRP)

but all of them had more physical core than their older brother Kabylake :)

why don't u just wait till they released, even if they're too expensive, their release should affect the kabylake (which means kabylake's price should go down) it's a win-win situation imo and worth the wait anyway :)

Only the z370 is releasing now. And that seems to cost as much as an x299 mobo. Hate to say this, but coffee lake is out of your reach. So is the 7600k. Since you would require a z270 mobo and a decent cooler to utilize it.
You have a lot of benchmarks to compare. And yes even though the 7600k has like a 10fps gain in many games, the ryzen optimized games are like within 5% of each other.
Ryzen is a solid buy. Especially so if you are OK with 60fps.

Will my original configuration (7600k,gig z270md3h) hurt my min fps in the future...because it fits my budget..i dont want my gaming fps to drop below 45 at 1080p high to ultra for atleast the next 2 yrs...

My budget is 125000 including the monitor...so if i can get a monitor which fits my fps output without spending 25k will it work? As i now think i wont need 144hz in a monitor.

is this good enough? if there's anything u would like to change (brand or stuff) lemme know :)
it's Ryzen btw, definitely solid for 60hz, and more stable performance overall :)
