As title, Sandisk Ultra Fit 64gb USB. It does not show up on file explorer on a USB 3.0 port on multiple devices, however it works on a usb2.0. Oddly enough, if i use a usb 2.0 extender connected via a usb3.0 port it works. Really confused. Have fully updated/disabled/uninstalled all drivers, reinstalled windows as well, other usb's work fine.

1) Do other USB3 devices work on the USB3 ports at a speed that proves USB3 is working? (well over 32MBps)

2) If you can prove the USB3 port works, then that leaves only the USB3 cable (if different) or the Sandisk device.

3) You say it works with a USB 2.0 extender, but is it working at USB3 speeds or not? (see #1)

1) Yes i have been copying over gigabytes of movies/games over time and it is all fast.
2) Im tempted to believe that the device is at fault but im confused as to why it would not work on USB 3.0
3) No as it is going through a usb 2 cable, the speed would be lower than 3.0.
thanks

thats what i thought as well. but why would it work on 2.0 and not 3.0. Its more of a question as to why rather than trying to fix it.

EDIT: forgot to say, it very rarely works on 3.0. If i keep unplugging and plugging it back in for a long time it works. Sometimes it works on the first try. its very weird.
