Hello!

I just recently installed my new EVGA GTX 1080ti FTW3. Everything looks fine after fitting it into my case. To clarify i am using a 850 B2 EVGA PSU using 2 x 6+2 pin connector on the GPU. So both power slots are filled.

Now im having 2 issues. The first isn't huge, but maybe there's an underlying issue causing this. But when changing the RGB LED on the unit there are lights that light up the words on the front..and it looks like 4 leds under the card. The two on the right side ( when its installed) don't seem to change colors correctly. If i change all the colors to red those two will stay blue. Or if i choose another...they will turn off. The only color where they all work is blue. any ideas?

My second issue..is when i boot my computer up from sleep, it seems to lag. Almost like the power is surging....and the lights flash like its turning on and makes the loud kind of fan sound.....but then it goes really quiet. If i were to describe it...its like the power is going on a roller coaster.... full power...dipped into a quick "U" and then back to normal. if that makes sense. This all happens within 5 seconds. But it just seems weird because it never did it with the GTX 980. I believe the min PSU is 600w.

It works fine after its booted up.

Specs:
Windows 10 ( current)
Maximus Hero VII ( there was a bios update in 2017, haven't touched because mine is working fine with my cpu)
GTX 1080ti FTW 3
Samsung 850 evo SSD
EVGA bronze B2 850 PSU

Let me know if i can provide any more info.

In EVGA Precision X options, there are 2 tabs to control the LEDs. One tab is for the front badge and the backplate LED, the other is for Temperature/Ambient Lighting.

In the Temperature/Ambient lighting tab, you can set LEDs for the 3 ICX Temp Ranges (Hot/Warm/Cold) or set 2 other choices (I believe Ambient and Something else).

The temp ranges make sense, when temp is between X and Y degrees, make the corresponding area LED a certain color. However, you may be looking to make those a static color. I think you would then click Ambient (which disables the temp sensor colors) and select your desired color, Red.

In my research, I do NOT think you can change the color of the "FTW3" LED in the corner of the card... If you find a...
The fans running after being woken up from sleep does not seem like an issue, I have run across many systems that power up the fans when it first wakes up or is turned on. They do that to prevent issues with cooling since the sytem does not have power mode quite setup yet and does not know how fast the CPU or video card are running, so fans go on then slow down once it can check the temps and see that everything is OK. You can contact EVGA support and check on both things that are happening to see if they are normal.
