Upgrade AMD FX 6300?

Hi guys.

Right now I have a gtx 1060 6gb paired with a fx 6300 @ 4.0 ghz.

The problem is that in some games there are fps drops (games like BF1) and I think that the cpu is bottlenecking my gpu. (I get 100% cpu usage too)

I need tips about what cpu and board should I buy to get a better performance with a small budget. The board must have DDR3 ram slots because I dont have enough money to buy everything.

My suggestion is to just deal with the low performance for now while you save up more money for your upgrade. Generally speaking, if you want to stick with DDR3 RAM, then you are more or less limited to upgrading to a FX-8350 which is not much of an improvement. Or switch over to a 4th generation Intel Haswell Core i5-4460 CPU and compatible motherboard (~ $275 to $325). You will definitely get a huge increase in CPU performance, but not the best bang for your buck because older generation Intel CPUs do not get discounted very much.
