Hey guys,
I bought the Asus PG279Q recently and I plan to use it as my main monitor. I don’t game to much anymore, however, I game enough to not want to deal with the issues of 4k and not having 144hz. I do photo editing, programming and CAD work often and I want to find a nice companion monitor for the PG279Q. I plan to use the second monitor in portrait mode (maybe). Will there be any issues between my main monitor for gaming being 1440p and my second monitor possibly being 4k for my daily workflow? Should I just stick to 1440p for the other monitor? I am worried about the mismatching colors and resolution, is this an issue or just personal preference?
I really like the LG 4k monitors. I would potentially run only the LG monitors but I use Nvidia GPUs so Freesync really doesn’t do much for me when gaming. That being said the colors are awesome!
