Hello guys
I bought an asus m5a78l m lx3 with a fx6300 cpu, i plugged everything i updated the bios and when it starts, it loads the windows xp and blue screen and restating.why loads windows xp, when its windows 7 ready and why blue screen and restarting

It loads xp because that's the OS that was in stalled on the obviosly used hdd. Xp blue screens because it doesn't like booting up on hardware that is different from what it was originally installed on.

Put the windows disc in and restart the PC it should go to the install. If not go into BIOS and set boot priority to your disc drive, save and exit then put the disc in and restart the PC.
Your going to loose all information on the drive so back up anything you can't replace.
