Hi guys, first time builder here and wanted some help to ensure I didnt do anything wrong.

I have a Geforce 1070 FTW Graphics card being powered by a EVGA SuperNova 650 G2.

Am I right to power one 8 pin slot using VGA1 on the power supply and the other using VGA 2??

Each Graphics Card power cord that came with the supernova has a 8 pin connected to a 6 pin so it wont power using 1 cord!

Here is a link to two pictures

Help please!!!!

Solution
Yes you've got it right. It's actually better to do it that way, to use two separate cables. Less heat/energy going through one cable.
