PC keeps freezing in PUBG and Watch Dogs

Hello, so I recently bought a decent PC made for gaming but for some reasons it keeps freezing in PUBG and Watch Dogs, it freezes for 1 or 2 minutes, sometimes even for 30 seconds and I can't seem to find the problem.
I have monitored the temperatures for GPU and Processor and alos the RAM usage and everything was fine.
Also, yesterday and some days earlier it wasn;t that bad as today, today it kept freezing every 10-30 minutes

Processor: i5 7500
Motherboard Gigabyte h-270 gaming 3
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB
RAM: 8 GB 2400Mhz from Team Group
HDD: 1 Terabyte
SSD: 120GB
OS: Windows 10 Home

NOTE: I have only the OS installed on the SSD and everything else is on the Hard Disk.
I haven't really tested it in other games for a long period but in CS GO and ETS2 seems to work just fine.

I have searched the interned but the only solution I could find is that it may be a virus but the PC is only 2 weeks and I don;t think I have any viruses yet,
I have scanned the system with Avast 2017 and everything seemed fine, also all the drivers are up to date.


I thought maybe someone may have an ideea, if not I think I will reinstall the OS and if that doesn't solve any problems then I will send my PC to warranty.

While your problem seems to be fixed, for future reference, if you're looking at reviews and they're customer reviews rather than very specific teardowns using specialized equipment...

My problem is that I have only 1 stick of RAM. If I remember corectly Watch Dogs did the same with my last PC, it kept freezing like hell. PUBG, what can I say, I know it is a new game but still... I don;t have a cloue what is going on. 5 mins ago I just ran a stress Test with Real Bench and Fur Mark for my CPU and GPU, The GPU barely hit 66 degrees in full load een though in PUBG it goes up to 70 degrees but that is normal from what I could see on the internet and the Processor doesn't go past 50degrees in PUBG or WATCH DOGS with 90% load.

I think that might be your issue as less demanding games such as CSGO run fine but when you have high loads such as Watchdogs it's struggling to deliver the required power. I could be wrong but Aerocool doesn't exactly make good units.

I don't know what to say man, the system is brand new, I have checked my system at the Online Calculator for wattage and it says that I need a power suply of 400W. And I have also checked a lot of reviews regarding the PS and almoast everyone praise it.

EDIT: And as I have mentioned above I just did a stress test for 15 minutes and everything was fine, I will try and do one tommorow for 30 minutes and see what happenes. The PC is nowhere near the load from the stress program while gaming. GPU barely hits 40-50% usage in WATCH DOGS and 60-70% in PUBG

Well that's part of the problem, your GPU usage is much lower then it's supposed to be. Ideally your GPU usage should be above 85% and your CPU usage should be less then your GPU usage (with balanced parts).

Another reason I said the PSU as even though it's new and says 500W it may not deliver even close to that number and may be much less. I don't know much about the voltage delivery on the rails and that stuff but I think it has something to do with it.

Ok, I found a way of testing your PSU without having to put another one in. Download HWMonitor (free), open it up and you'll notice a voltage called +12V (12.000). Keep HWMonitor open and play either Watchdogs or PUBG until you start having the issues and post back if it dipped below 12.000 under the MIN column.

Great, I will try that, but before that a little update.

So today and last night windows starts to freeze aswell for 30 seconds to 1 minute and sometimes I need to restart my PC so I am pretty sure it is the windows. I can't install another OS yet because I don't have a bootable stick right now but when I am doing it I will return here with the results, untill then I am going to try to test the PSU
I can't seem to find the 12+v thingy, any ideeas?

This is after 3 hours of Watch Dogs and about 5-7 freezes but again I mention the audio is going on so it is very likely that this is a game problem.
If I am right the voltage should be the 1.200 thing and it went to minimum 1.188 which if I may say it can't cause any problems, also I have checked the program after the first 2-3 freezes and the minimum was 1.200 so idk, I am still blaming the game and the OS:D

Yeah, did that, anyway, for now thank you all for helping me in one way or another, in about 1 week I would say I am going to get my hands on bootable stick with Windows 10 Pro and if everything just solves itself I will post here and close the case.
By the way, I want to know if PUBG can freeze if I have issues with my internet because, letting Watch Dogs asside, I sometimes lose connection for about 5-10 seconds (let's say it happens twice or three times in 2 hours), can that make my PUBG and also my PC to freeze?

No no, it's not the PC, it is my internet cable or modem which fucks up, it is like this for 3 years already.

And a little update. Yesterday I have played Watch Dogs with MSI Afterburner on and I have set my GPU Temperature and Usage to show on Screen and also the Processor usage and temperature. Strangely enough, my GPU seemes to drop to 0 usage while Watch Dogs freezes, but on the screen if it froze at 80% usage let's say, after it stopped freezing it still was at around 80% +/-. I don't see the GPU going ip in usage after it stops freezing.

My question is: Is the MSI Afterburner showing the correct values after the game freezes or is it because the PC freezes aswell and not only the game so maybe the Afterburner just stopped working while the PC was frozen?

Sorry if I am too late with the answer. It turns out my SSD was the problem, it had a factory fault. The guy at the store I bought the PC from said that he tested the SSD with every software possible and all of them said the SSD was just fine and then he had the bright ideea to install an OS on the SSD and then voilla! It started freezing just like it did to me. The SSD was from ADATA which is quite a good company if you ask me, now I have a new SSD from Silicon Power which works just fine.

What I want to point out here is: If anybody happens to have the same problem as me, and even if you tested your hardware with every software possible, it is still likely that the problem your hardware has can't be seen just by testing it with a software.
