UPDATE: It fixed it self apparently.

So my cousin built his PC a couple months ago and had issues with random crashes in CSGO and other small issues. A bit abnormal but I didn't think much about it at the time. Recently he got a GTX 1060 and nothing changed. I went over to his house to get a haircut and while I was there I set his RAM to 3000Mhz (Used XMP on RAM) and it booted properly unlike last time where it boot cycled and then reset back to 2133 which I thought was pretty nice seeing as you get a like 2% performance increase from it. When I got back home he sent me a message saying how his games would black screen constantly and crash after I changed it so I had him update his bios to see if it would help with stability and load the XMP settings again. After he did this he said his computer boot cycled again and reset the RAM speed. At that point I decided that it doesn't really matter and that the people who said the RAM would work with Ryzen were just straight up liars and let it be.

The next day he said how all of his games would flicker randomly "as if I am blinking" (I haven't seen it myself). I then decided it might be the GPU so I sent him a 6450 I had and he said it still happened. I would like to say I had him use DDU to uninstall all drivers and he even reset his PC. I then had him take out and put in 1 stick of RAM and if that doesn't fix it replace it with the other which didn't fix it.

I'm having him change the slot his GPU is in right now to see if that will work.

At this point i'm pretty sure it's either the RAM, Motherboard, or CPU but I would like your thoughts on this. I'd like to point out that temps are fine by the way.

His specs:
Ryzen 5 1600 (Stock cooler stock clocks)
Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz (Running at 2133Mhz)
WD Blue 1TB
MSI B350 PC Mate
EVGA GTX 1060 (Stock clocks)
EVGA 500w 80+ (Not bronze)
A Computer Case.

Unless there was a bios update 1 day before posting this it most certainly should be on the latest bios... considering he updated it 1 day before.
