So recently I've been looking to play SWTOR (Star Wars: The Old Republic), but I don't think my laptop specs meet the minimum requirements. The (so-called) minimum requirements are:
2.0 GHz, 1.5 GB RAM, 256 MB RAM (It says on-board, so I'm not sure I can do this), and 36 GB of Storage space. My laptop specs are: i3-3227U 1.9GHz CPU, 8 GB DDR3 204 pin RAM, 465 GB Storage, and Integrated Graphics HD 4000. Currently in Advanced Display settings, it says that I have 32 MB of vRAM usable, but it also says that the maximum is 1760 MB. I want to be able to dedicate some of my RAM to vRAM so that I can potentially play SWTOR, but I would need to leave vRAM for the rest of my system. Would I be able to convert 1/2 a GB of RAM to 512 MB vRAM at all? If so, how would I go about it. I've been told to use the BIOS settings but when I go to the BIOS, I cannot access them, as they are grey lettered in the boot menu. Thanks! :-D
