I have an Alienware x51 R2 that was and had been working perfectly for about three years now, and this afternoon I was playing Planetside 2 when suddenly it turned off and didnt turn back on again. I just pressed the startup button and the fans would turn for less than half a second (and come back off) and the startub button light would stay on until I force turned it of by holding the button.
I opened it up and by trial and error found out that this only happens when my gpu (GTX 760 TI) is plugged to the Power Cable.
