Safe overclock for FX 6300?

Hello guys.

I need to know which overclock is the best for the next specs:

- FX 6300
- GA-78LMT-USB3
- HYPER 212 EVO

Right now I have my fx 6300 overclocked to 4.0 ghz (no changes on voltage, good temps) and I dont know if it could be higher or just stay right there.

I wanna overclock because there is some bottleneck with my gtx 1060 6gb and I dont know how many fps will I gain with more clock speed.

It would be "better" but its not going to solve anything, in addition the motherboard would struggle more with the 125w processor.
Save up the money for the time being.

And talking about fps it is worth it to overclock? Does it reduce the bottleneck? Or it is just a non-noticeable fps gain? I know it is bottleneck because the high cpu usage in battlefield 1

You would probably gain a few FPS here and there, but its not really going to be the results you want.
For something as CPU intensive as BF1 there isnt a OC you can do to make the 6300 "enough". I would recommend a CPU upgrade when possible, but dont push the OC too far for the time being, that motherboard cant handle much voltage.

A fx 8350 is a good choice? I dont have enough budget right now to buy a new mobo/processor, and I just wanna get rid of the bottleneck. Does the fx 8350 have bottleneck issues or is the same thing?
