Hi guys,

I'm trying to come up with a 1000 dollar budget gaming PC build for a friend of mine, but I have a really hard time deciding on the best components in terms of cost/performance ratio.

I've recently posted a build I was thinking off, but I didn't feel that the thread came up with the best solution.

So now I wanna challenge you to put together your best ~1000 dollar gaming PC build, where you take into account the 'best-bang-for-the-bucks'. Afterwards, I'll post my initial partlist that I've done.
I hope you'll take up this 'competition' - and the best build will be the one I buy and build for my friend.

Thanks guys!
/Henrik.

Hi vapour,
Nice suggestion, I like that you've managed to squeeze in the GTX 1070!

yes, the gtx 1060 6gb is a perfect 1080p 60/144 fps card. and can even pull off 1440p in some games.
