I have a Telstra Gateway Max (which hosts my WAN connection) as my main router and a TP-LINK WR941ND and my secondary which is connected via Ethernet to my computer. I'm trying to open a port but nothing seems to work. I've set up a port rule in the Telstra Gateway to my TP-LINK's external IP Address. Then forwarded a port from my TP-LINK to my PC's local IPv4 IP. I've tried everything and nothing works. PLEASE HELP!!

Here's an image of my network setup.

Port forwarding tends to be tricky to setup because it can be broken in so many location. Best would be to start simple and plug your pc into the main router and see if you can first get the port forwarding working there. It could be something other than port forwarding that is causing it not to work. Some ISP restrict certain ports and it can be as simple as the program on the end machine is not actually listening on the port for many reasons.

Your problem is one of the reason it is not recommended to run 2 routers in a house. You are better served to use the second as a AP if you are only doing it for wifi coverage
