I recently got an AM3+ processor, the
FX 4350, but after installing my computer repeatedly started up, And after about 15 seconds it would flash a blue screen which declared it was rebooting, and the support link it showed was of no help. Though I've heard that it could be a bios or driver problem but i couldn't find a straight answer.

I have an older CPU to download new driver or whatever but idk what to download or where. Also I tried safe mode on startup but that only prolonged the reboot.

on side not i put my old processor back in and it works fine.

Solution
Update your BIOS to the latest version first. However, what bothers me is the fact that FX 4350 is not listed on the official CPU support list for your motherboard (it still *might* work after latest BIOS update, but no guarantees):

http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/970%20Pro3/#CPU

You can use FX 4150, 4300, 4320, 6100, 6120, 6300, 6330, 8100, 8120, 8140, 8300 and 8320E.

You can also use most Phenom II X4 CPUs and Phenom II X6 CPUs.
