This might be a noob question, but i enabled my RAM XMP profile so it runs at 2666mhz now (corsair vengeance 2X8 2666mhz rgb ram) but when i check the timings it says:
16-18-18-35
now i dont know what that 35 is or if its anny good?'
look fine to me. the last number in the latency group is always high. As the speeds increase the latencies will rise accordingly. DDR2 533mhz had timings of 4-4-4-10, but ran at a fraction of the speed that DDR4 runs at. the timings are good
well, XMP sets the DIMMS at the preferred timings. Typically its 4-5 settings. Changing the 35 to 34 or something tightens the timing(s) and 'may' increase theoretical bandwidth. Leave the settings as they are, and be happy your DIMMS are running at full speed
