Which processor will perform better in PC gaming? Intel Core i3 4130 (3.4 GHz) OR Intel Core i5 3470 (3.6 GHz) .

Of course the i5 3470 will perform better not only at gaming but at everything else too. The core i3 4130 has 2 cores and 4 threads @3.40GHz Vs the core i5 4 cores and 4 threads @3.60GHz. The core i5 is the winner.
If you are planning on using integrated graphics(and no graphics card) the i3 is a little bit better because it has a bit better IGPU, but if you are planning on using a graphics card the i5 is the clear winner.

The i5 has faster clock speed and double the amount of physical cores. So it's faster.

Just note that they are from different platforms, therefore they won't work in the same MOBO, each will have to get a especific one for itself.

i3-4130 is a 3rd-tier CPU, i5-3470 is a 2nd-tier CPU, so the i5 is more powerful.

Intel core i3 is older than i5 so basically i5 will be better as it has more 0.2GHz
