Trying to setup a secondary pc with old crt monitor... Need some help please.

GT 1030/GTX 1050 with a hdmi to vga active adapter connected to samsung syncmaster 794mg. Will it work? if yes will there be any display performance issues?

Yeah as long as you have an active Digital to Analogue converter (as the 10 series have no analogue VGA output).

No performance issues.
