I bought a new Acer 15" laptop with 1tb HDD drive. I have a plan to upgrade to a ssd drive next couple of months. The upgrade work costs 169, 00 euros that's why, so I'm planning it for next year. So what is the best plan technically with partitions and all for now with Windows 10 and the temporary (big) hard drive.

Depending which SSD brand you buy, they come with cloning software so you could just clone your current HDD to the SSD if you don't have more data on the system partition than the size of the SSD. Also it sounds like you will pay someone to upgrade it for you? Why don't you just buy a SSD and do it yourself?
