Waste of money on 7800X IMO. You will be better off with either coffee lake I7-8700k + new MB or cheaper Ryzen 1700 8 core build
I wouldn't mind the coffelake but it's still on the old 1151 socket and I wanna be future proof with the 2066 socket which the x series uses. In case I ever need to upgrade cpu in a few years i don't have to get a whole new mobo again.

Nothing is future proof mate! Z370 will be the new series of MB for Coffee lake, there is none MB supporting coffee lake! Which one is more future proof? Coffee lake despite same socket

I see what you're saying. Though besides saving a bit of money by switching to the coffee lake... let's say I stayed with this build i presented. How do you think it performs in terms of streaming/gaming?
