Trying to figure out graphics hardware on my motherboard

Greetings of the day!
Current old build: AMD FX 4300/Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3 Version 5.0./1*8GB Transcend RAM/AOC E1670 Swu.
Objective: Upgrade to entry to mid-level workstation.
I am getting an HDMI/DVI-D capable computer monitor(BenQ GW2270HM). Also adding 1*8GB Transcend RAM.
Does my motherboard have integrated graphics?
Also I want to get a professional/Workstation mid-level graphics card for this build.

I know this:
1. A computer/IT system requires some sort of specialized hardware to output display.
2. CPU: AMD FX series do not have GPU inside them.
3. Older motherboards USED to have integrated graphics.
4. Confusion: If my motherboard does not have integrated graphics, how am I getting a display at all?
