PSU pin Compatibility with MOBO???

Hey guys,

So after a long 9 years i have finally decided to upgrade my pc, so i wanted to ask you guys about the compatibility of everything i am buying, so here it goes.

I am going to be keeping my GPU and my PSU and the rest of the items have been upgraded.

This is my GPU: Sapphire R9 270x OC edition 2gb Dual x

these are the new items i will be purchasing:

MOBO: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/Z270-SLI-PLUS/Gallery

SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250 gb

HDD: WD 7200 rpm 1 tp 64 mb cache

CPU: i5-7600k

RAM: http://www.corsair.com/en-gb/vengeance-lpx-8gb-2x4gb-ddr4-dram-3000mhz-c15-memory-kit-black-cmk8gx4m2b3000c15



Thats about it, please let me know if i will be running into any compatibility issues even when it comes to the PSU pins since i have thrown the box of the psu away i dont have any of the adapters lying around and the wattage compatibility and everything please.

i5-7600k is an almost dead cpu (4 cores 4 threads) go for coffe lake i5 8400 or i5 8600k (6 cores 6 threads) much better option compared with old i5.

Sorry i forgot to mention but the PSU is about 3 years old, i had to updated it after i got the graphic card which was also about 3 years ago.

another question when i check the specs of i5-7600 and in the memory section it mentions: Memory Types
DDR4-2133/2400, DDR3L-1333/1600 @ 1.35V

Does this mean that the memory i purchased will not be compatible??

That RAM will be compatible, it just will not run at it's full speed potential, it is DDR4 just as MB specs say. As far as pSU goes, it would have to have at least following cables:
- 1 x 24-pin ATX main power connector
- 1 x 8-pin ATX 12V power connector
and 2x6pin PCIe leads for GPU.

So does that mean that even overclocking the ram wouldnt make any difference?

regarding the psu i guess i have to buy a 4 pin to 4x4 pin adapter power connector and what do you think about the wattage of the psu? is it enough? or do you think i need more?

Total power should be enough but what's disconcerting is that it has split 12v power of 17 and 15A outputs of which that 15a may not be enough or is barely enough for that GPU that at full load needs 180W and according to Ohm's law 180/12V = 15A.
Other thing is that according to https://www.gigabyte.com/Power-Supply/GE-E470A-C4#sp it has only one PCIe 6(+2) pin but GPU apparently needs 2 of them, Coupled with only 4pin ATX connector, it's pretty iffy proposition.
