I've overclocked Ryzen 5 1600 with stock cooler at 3.7GHz /1.3375v, and it's stable. The question is , is it the normal temperature around 45-50°C idle and around 70-80°C when it's under full load?
(I live in hot country , it's like 25-30~°C everyday)

One more question , why the temperature is unstable? It is normal? for example the temperature would jump up almost 10°C in 1 second (like from 50°C to 60°C in 1 second) while it's operating and cool down to 50°C.

Sorry for my bad english.

okay, your ambient temps are high. so that will impact your temps. Your idle temp seems a little high, even with higher ambient temps. Maybe look at the fan curve, and set it to spin faster when a lower temp is reached. that will help keep it cooler. You can also look at getting some case fans if you don't already have them to improve the airflow in your case.

Yes, i get that same temp fluctuation on my 1600x. I guess you have to realize its a 6 core CPU, so it generates a bit of heat. I find that it jumps the 10c when ever i starts a new app, even if it's just a browser. Then it instantly drops back to it's idle temp. This is normal.

also, when you say full load, do you mean gaming load or stress load? If you mean gaming, then those...

With an average ambient temp you should be expecting temps for idle at 30-35. gaming 45-60, full (stress load - Prime95) 65-80c. But that is just a guide. Your ambient temps are higher so your idle/load temp will be too.
