Best cooling option for Corsair H60?

Hi All,

I just got a 7700k and I plan to get a Corsair H60 AIO since i cannot use the 240mm AIO due to Corsair 100R case (also no air cooler). I plan to purchase another SP fan to do the push and pull for H60 and I plan to mount the radiator on the rear side. The PROBLEM is should i do it as INTAKE or Exhaust? (if mounting the radiator in the front is not an option)

Currently I have 2 120mm fan in the front as intake, a Blower Style GTX1080, no fans at the top but has vents, and one rear exhaust.

1. If i mount the radiator at the rear as intake (push and pull) then add two more fan at the top to improve the exhaust (without touching the two fans in the front). That seems works but will the radiator fan suck in the hot air that blow out from my GPU (while in heavy gaming)? Will that affect the CPU cooling?

2. If i do it as Exhaust, no fans added at the top and also not touching the two fans in the front. Will that be better than option 1? However, i am worry about the warm air inside the case will also affect the CPU cooling.

Thanks,

The H60 is 1 of the coolers I don't trust my self, I mean the only good thing is the warranty Corsair Provides. I would get the H80I v2 and if 2 fans make it too think, then take 1 off, it will still cool the CPU better with 1 fan then the H60 could with 2 fans.

I see you don't plan to overclock? Could I recommend that you stay with an Air cooler, less points of failure, and Air coolers will last forever with maybe a fan replacement after so long.

Anyway if you do plan to overclock even a little, the H80I v2 or the H100i are the better coolers with the better pumps that will last and not give you trouble over time. I guess you could look into the Corsair H75, about the same size as the H60, has the better pump. Probably will cool...
