Hi all, I'm an avid gamer on the Pc and I'm looking to get into streaming the MMORPG Runescape through Twitch.TV as well as League of Legends and CSGo for fun in my downtime, I'm looking to completely modify my current PC, It seems like it needs a good buff.

Any thoughts and Ideas on what parts I need to look into upgrading. The goal is to put it together separately and modify it by buying parts such as graphics card but Idk what else I need to make it stream worthy and of good quality at the same time.Atm, when I stream my FPS, is poor quality.
Any recommendations? All help is and feedback is appreciated!
regards, louvar

You're all good with that PSU & GPU.

You now have a 'proper' gaming pc that's easily capablenof streaming.

Bear in mind nvidia geforce experience app has native shadowplay recording & twitch streaming features built in that use the GPU alone

The 1060 is easily capable of maintaining a 1080p live stream with virtually no fps drops

you could go for a ryzen 5 1600x, it will serve you pretty well, get it with a mobo B350 model, and 16gb ddr4 3200MHz, i recommend gskills models, they work just fine with the ryzen cpu. this will serve you for a couple of years for sure.

if you want even more power at multitasking, you can go with the ryzen 7, it losts a little in gaming power against the R5 1600x, but i dont think its going to be a problem, since u want streaming as well.

if all you care about are those particular games, then all you really need is a stronger gpu

+1 on a gtx 1050 ti, or a gtx 1060 also complements your cpu well

make sure your power supply can handle it and your case can fit whatever gpu you get

a nice graphic card would be good as well, just like our friend said, a gtx 1050 or 1060 would fit pretty good.

your cpu is a strong one, you can save some budget, but if you're looking into a whole new PC, you could go with the ryzen cpus, as i said earlier.

and make sure you power supply is strong enough to handle it.

Say I cared about a lot more such dabbling in video editing and content creation, would the gtx 1060 be enough for gaming and video editing? I have the patience of a saint, but I dislike low FPs and game quality on League, I'm mainly a console gamer so Ill be recording using the elgato capture card for console game play.

i think so, but i wont say it for sure since i never tested it myself

The sole weak point of your PC is the GPU as already mentioned.

You're already running a 3770 with 16gb ram ??
You're all good there

What psu is currently in there ?? The 1060 is fairly conservative on power & really only needs a good 450w PSU .

You should be fine with that setup. The video editing depends on what software you use. Some software uses CUDA cores, and that card will help you there. Some software mostly uses the CPU, so a videocard upgrade won't help you there. Gaming will be vastly improved, because the GT 630 is not really a gaming card, not even a low end gaming card.

What do you think of my corsair cx450m pick, should I use that instead of my regular 230v input output power supply?

I have no idea what your current power supply actually is.

Considering the age of your system though unless it was an absolutely top quality PSU in its day the cx450m is going to do a far far better job than a group regulated unit that's likely 5+ years old.
