Intel i5 8400 or i7 8700k

Just watched Linus tech tips video "Intel’s RYZEN-KILLER - Core i7 8700K" on youtube and now totally confused about my decision. May be i will go for i7 8700k but "heat" will be an issue there according to Linus... oh god! i need a perfect one
Heat is not generally an issue unless planning on Blender loads running overclocked....
Purely content creation (rendering, encoding, decoding, etc.), the Ryzen R5-1600 and R5-1700 are great values, even if not quite as fast, and, they run fairly darn cool....

If your case is wide enough to accommodate the height, Noctua makes several nice ones...; the NH-D15 is near silent, and works well with the 7700K, can't imagine it'd do any less well with 12-20 watts more heat under full load from an 8700K...
