my usb flash memory stopped working on any computer it only gives a sound when you plug it in or out ,how can i solve that

When you ejected the USB would you just unplug it out of the port or would you unmount it because it could be corrupted. That's happen to me before so now I always unmount it before unplugging it. It's recommended you do that.
