Summary: Landlords wi-fi is 30 meters away, he has bought an extender, wi-fi signal is at 1 bar when working, signal is lost all the time.
Would buying a good network adapter solve the problem?
Have no idea which router&extender he's using.
[I'm using an HP 350 G2, the i7,SSD, 16gb ram version currently]

Long version:
Hello guys
I've decided to register on a tech-savy forum to ask this question because I've been googling around for days (with shitty internet xD) trying to figure out what to do

Basically, what happened is I'm a student, and I'm renting this small condo which is very close to the landlords house.
The place doesn't have its own wi-fi, it uses wi-fi from his house, and since it's around 30 meters away or so, the signal is really bad and keeps cracking.
I was here last year but I never spent more than a day here since I was always at my girlfriends and I used mobile data the wi-fi almost never worked.
However, this year, he said he bought an extender and the wi-fi works excellent

I'm here now, and I can say that's not true.
The wi-fi does work, but it breaks around a 100 times an hour.
I can watch a youtube video if I open it and let it load for a while, but it's extremlly unusable when I have to open new tabs and I can't load a new website for minutes (not mentioning how frustrating it is).

Since I am using the internet and I'm somehow able to navigate through the interwebs, I was thinking perhaps I would just need a stronger network adapter which would make the internet function well and more stable?
So the signal doesn't get lost.

The thing I found that I thought would work the best was TRENDnet TEW-809UB, however its 100$ price tag and probably import taxes are too expensive for me.
Would Net-Dyn AC1200 work?
Since, the internet is working with my regular laptop, it just has poor signal and it loses connection.

Would purchasing something like url solve the problem?

The problem with that is, I have no way to put it outside and the cable inside the condo.
What would be the best option for me to do right now?
