I changed the case last week and it suddenly started randomly shutting down. It doesn't matter if I'm watching a movie or playing CPU/GPU intensive games it just randomly shuts down. There's days when it doesn't shut down at all but are very rare. It usually shuts down 2-3 times a day.
I'm monitoring CPU/GPU temperatures while under load and everything is in normal 60-65°C.
I could be playing intensive games for hours and it doesn't shut down. Last night I was watching a movie and it just shut down and there wasn't any apps running in the background but AV and some gpu apps.
All the parts are relatively new. It never shut down in the old case. When it shuts down it's like I pulled the power cable out but I just turn it on like nothing happened except windows says it was unexpectedly shut down.
When I was changing the case I didnt remove the CPU or RAM from the motherboard so it all went smothly and quickly, but after few hours it started shutting down randomly.
One thing I'm going to do is reset all the power cables as I had struggle getting the motherboard connector to reach its slot and it was left very tight.
I'd appreaciate any suggestions as I'm concerned that I don't damage the hardware with all these shutdowns and that I might have damaged the mobo or some other part during the process.
