PC Build:
CPU - AMD - Ryzen 5 1500x Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard - ASRock - AB350M Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard
Graphics Card - Zotac - GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Gaming X
OS - Windows 10 64-bit

Just as the title says, it knows theres a network there but its “unidentifiable” and does not connect! Ughh. Could it be because they’re not “real” ethernet cables but more like these:

I tried installing new drivers via usb and bios as well but nothing changed! Even the network adapters seem to be working fine on the device manager screen. I’m at a loss here.

Also I may have made mistakes while installing the BIOS but I’m not sure! And please, if there are any questions please ask!

Solution
Yeah, the all-in-one, the sound driver, and the LAN driver. The all-in-one would have to be run in windows, not the BIOS as you mentioned earlier.

It is possible that your powerline network adapters are a problem. The LEDs on the powerline network adapters should provide status of their functioning. To test that you could run a long ethernet cable on the floor temporarily or move the PC closer to the primary router.

Did you do a clean OS install? Did you install the driver disk that came with the motherboard?

I tried directly connecting the pc to the router and the same thing happened. My pc is also located very close to the router to begin with.

And what do you mean by clean OS install? Nothing weird happened when i installed Windows 10 and I followed all of its directions. And the driver disk I did not install because I do not have an optical drive. But I did get the updated BIOS and drivers on a usb and used the flash stick function on the BIOS screen to update them. All though I’ll be honest I am not entirely sure I did it right.

What I meant by a clean OS install is not reusing a hard drive with Windows already installed. Many posters here try to just pop in a Windows HDD from a previous build and assume it will work. You didn't do that, so that isn't your problem. BUT, you didn't load the drivers for the motherboard. That may be your problem. Check the device manager and see if there are any devices with exclamation points or any unknown devices. Since you don't have an optical drive, you need to get the drivers off the manufacturer's website and load them.
From this website -- https://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/AB350M/index.asp#osW1064 you want to download and install the top three files. That should fix any driver issues. The files after the top three depend on your personal preferences. RGB to me is a waste, but you may HAVE to have it.

I checked the devices in device manager and theres nothing with exclamation points or of the sort. Everything seems to be working fine but I’ll try installing the top 3 drivers.
