Can i oc my ram with any motherboard?

Can i oc my ram with any motherboard? I know that when you to properly oc your processor you need to have at least a b350 chipset in the mobo, but how about oc'ing a ram? Do i need to have a specific chipset or does any chipset works fine?

It depends on what you mean by overclocking your RAM. On a B350, the default RAM speed is either 2133 or 2400. If you buy RAM rated at 3000 you might be able to run it at that rate just by using the DOCP in the BIOS. But can you run it at 3200? Probably not.
