Can i combine these same frequency, brand Ram?

Solution
RAM can be kinda finicky. Mixing and matching RAM does not always work. Even when you use RAM of the same model. This is why RAM is sold in kits as they have been tested to work with each other.

The best option is to at least pair it with the same model, it may not work, but has a better chance. There is less of a chance that it will work if it is a different model. It may work, but it may not. If you go with either of these choices, get it from a vendor that will accept returns in case it does not work and you are left with RAM that you cannot use.

The only way to guarantee that it will work is if you buy either a 8gb or 16gb kit and sell your existing RAM.
not likely. they have different timings and voltage requirements. By mixing the two, you will have a whole lot of playing around in the bios to get them to work, and that's if they work together at all. You should try and get a matched kit. then you know they will work fine straight out of the box.
