i asked this before, but it was on a whole build, from some of my research i'm seeing that the intel pentium is not that good for gaming. I don't want to play far cry. I just want to play TF2 or Gmod.
Perfectly competent budget build. The Pentium has proven itself to be just fine for the type of gaming he is asking about. MOBAs, CS:GO, TF2, and many other games will run just fine on that platform.
Next step up would be a Ryzen R5-1400 which doubles the cores.

Theres what my build should be, i think i changed the ram and gpu to a little cheaper.

Thats not a gaming CPU
you i think you should have asked your CPU model i thought you are talking about all Intel CPU
for those games it will do just fine. It's not a great gaming chip by todays standards, but capable none the less. If you went with the RX560 instead of the 550 you would get very good results on those games. They are not demanding.
If you want to play battlefield 1 at Ultra settings on 1080p, then you will have a different story. But for TF2 and Gmod, you will be able to play them just fine.

Depends on what games (and at what settings) and what Pentium model you are talking about. Pentium is the bottom of the Intel stack so set your expectations accordingly.
Currently the G4560 and G4600 are considered to be great budget CPUs.
Ok thank you, So how good will gmod play nicely. Right now i crash every time. (Current 4gb ram, .5 vram Idk what the processor is)
If you want, what would be a good cpu (BUDGET)
