SSD installation help

I want to install an SSD just for extra storage, but all the guides I can find only show how to migrate the OS installation or re-install the OS. If anyone can point me towards a good guide it would be appreciated.

Are you asking how to install the SSD into the PC itself, If so then mount it to the SSD bay of the case, plug the power and the Transfer cable.

If your just asking how to manually install it on the computer I don't believe you need to. When I installed my SSD to my tower I just plugged it in and downloaded what ever I wanted to the SSD

This is just a secondary drive?

Install it in the case.
Connect it.
If it does NOT appear in "This PC", then open up Disk Management
You might have to Initialize, New Volume, Format, and give it a drive letter.
