GTX 1080's - Cheapest vs Most Expensive / Is Worth it?

probably a very often asked question here but i can't wrap my head around an answer yet.

i'm looking to buy a gtx 1080 next month and there are many options to choose from...

my question is the following: are the most expensive gtx 1080's worth the price premium?

what is the most "bang for your buck" out there?

also why aren't there any good benchmarks comparing gtx 1080's out there?!

The partner custom cards cool a lot better so you are looking at the dual fan cards from the start.

They all for the most part perform the same give or take.

the only real difference is the cooling. some come with crappy cooling.
performance wise they are all the same if kept cool enough

IMO no the pricey ones are not worth the extra cost. They add so little extra in terms of performance.

The only real question is do you want a blower or a open cooler (dual or more fans) type card? For small ITX build cases a blower is usually a better idea as it pushes all the hot GPU air out of the case. While open cooler cards just mix it up with the rest of the internal case air and rely on good case ventilation to get rid of the hot air.

so cooling shouldnt be an issue.

but how do you guys feel about the new xbox x coming out next month...

at only 500€ a 4k maschine is really tempting... the only thing holding me back is the price of console games, but for 500€ it is indeed REALLY tempting.
