So,
Brothers i am receiving a little problem or at least i think i have one. So i bought a GPU R9 270X 4GB From GIGABYTE a year ago from a friend who has been using it for quite a while like a year. So it has been in use for around 2 years in total and warranty card with box is lost somewhere so 3 months ago as i was taking my case out i accidently hit adapter which was still on gpu and when i took it out and powered it on it was still working and when i putted it back it was not displaying anything through the dvi port just a white thin line on turning on the pc and then in a second nothing so as both dvi ports are on the sidei though not to buy an adapter for dvi-d as single link was broken and bought the HDMI to VGA adapter and its working fine noe
so a few days back i putted another hdd and suddenly no display through the gpu but it was displaying through mobo and gpu fans were spinning like they used to and it didnt even displayed after i removed mobo batery + hdds and one of the rams however i putted it in another system and it displayed and then when i putted it back in my pc it worked again but after removing the hdd i putted to test it worked but i thought of connecting it again but same result this time by another sata cable i plugged the hdd and it works. so my question to you guys is that is there something wrong with my psu or gpu as i dont think a gpu that is dead come back to life by simply nothing. help me bros or power is not enough or life span is over and yes what about the dead dvi port is it really
dead as even though i havent connected anything except than my single monitor it stil shows 2 monitors being plugged in from gpu any help would be appreciated and should i sell this or just it was power not being enough as i am on core 2 duo or wil it last like 2 more years and i dont have anything in my pocket so i wont be upgrading dont judge me as being cheap as i am only 12 thanks
