Other parts of my build:

The ram I'll be buying will be a 3200 16GB from g.skill, motherboard is currently planned as a msi X370 gaming plus (however I might switch here, since I was told I can use cheaper alternatives).

To let you know what kind of use I want to do with the finished PC:

I want to test out streaming, I want to play CSgo at 120/144/165Hz (also have to buy a monitor, Dell S2417DG is right now in my mind) with my current config or slightly improved quality, I want to play quake champions, PUBG, WoW and WoT on good quality and good FPS.

I am not the person who plays a lot of singleplayer games, if I do, they're mostly strategy/city builders.

Thanks for suggestions and input, really appreciate any comment and explanation you guys can give me!

Depends on what resolution you plan to play out. getting a new i7 and a 1080 is overkill unless you play on playing in 2.5-4k at 120+fps in basically everything. CSGO doesn't require a lot to get high fps. sounds like you already have the cpu, so won't recommend anything different there and also seems like it would be fine. I have a 480x and love it, the 580x is a little bit better and the cost is really nice between 2-250 depending on the model.

RX 580 4gb (basically same performance as 8gb, same clocks) GTX 1060 6gb (not same performance compared to 3gb version) or GTX 1070

The 580 is about 50$ less than the 1060. It kind of depends on your budget and how much you wanna spend and also what other parts you have. If you didn't have a...

Almost any card you can afford. Mine doesn't seem to have any problem running my GTX 1070 at 100% usage at the lowly 1080p/60hz. For high refresh rates like you want at higher than 1080p resolution, you might want to go to a GTX 1080 or 1080 Ti.

you really want to go intel for high refresh rate gaming

especially with games like PUBG, wow, and strategy/city building type games

you are going to be dissapointed with ryzen for those

look into the new coffee lake i7's ( i7 8700k specifically )

that dell is a g-sync 2560 x 1440‎ at 165 Hz monitor

so grab a gtx 1080 TI and you are set

if this is beyond your budget then SERIOUSLY consider a downgrade on that monitor and fps wishes

I think I got missunderstood. I want those high fps and the monitor for csgo. Every other game I am fine if I can run it on stable(ish) 60 fps. I will be upgrading from a shit 12 year old laptop, so my definition of "good fps and good quality" is probably a lot lower than the definition of most people in this forum.

The 580 is about 50$ less than the 1060. It kind of depends on your budget and how much you wanna spend and also what other parts you have. If you didn't have a SSD, you might consider getting the 580 4gb and then use that extra money to get a SSD. Also depends on if you would rather buy a higher card, but lower quality or higher quality lower card. For example, a very basic single fan gtx 1060 6gb evga that has ok reviews for 259$ vs an msi gaming x series rx 580 (one of the highest quality models for either card) for the same price.

that was actually one of my biggest concerns when purchasing mine. I had good experience with my last msi gaming x and the reviews on those models, regardless of which gpu, the gaming x has amazing reviews and runs super cool, very well built. I rather take a small performance hit to have peace of mind that my card is built very well and going to last. this is not to say that you can't get a cheaper one that will last or that the evga in this example would be bad, it's just something to consider.
