i'm new to pc and i don't know much about it so sorry if i don't understand you. so i recently brought a new gpu its a nvidia gt 1030 and i put it into my computer and then downloaded the drivers for it but when i finished that i went into a game of csgo and it was running around 35fps on high and i was so confused because all the videos i saw of the gpu were running csgo on high at around 100fps so iv been looking everywhere for a way to fix this and i cant. i disabled the integrated graphics and i updated my bios but that did nothing. my specs are
cpu: AMD A4-7300 APU 3.80ghz
gpu: nvidia gt1030
ram: 8gb but for some reason it will only let me use 6.96gb
motherboard: ASROCK fm2a88m-hd+ R3.0
windows 10 64bit

i really need some help, i don't know whats going on

Solution
Did you connect the monitor directly to gpu output or video output on the motherboard? About those usable RAM maybe some portion of the RAM was reserved for the integrated gpu hence you can only use 6.9 GB.
