As the title says, i don't get a option enter the bios on my MSI X370 Gaming Pro Carbon. If i rapidly press the delete button on startup, i just get a black screen and have to reset. If i don't i just boot into Windows. I have already tried clearing the CMOS, and that didn't change a thing. Any help is appreciated.

Disable "Fast Startup" if you're running Windows 10:

Go to 'Control Panel >> 'Power Options'

From the left hand column select 'What the Power Buttons Do'

At the top of the page select 'Change Settings that are currently unavailable'

Scroll all of the way to the bottom and untick 'Turn on Fast Startup'
Then click 'Save Changes'.

Next time you reboot you should see key-press options for BIOS Setup etc.

I don't have a Fast Startup option, it's only a Sleep and a Lock option. I tried changing it with a .bat file from https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/4189-turn-off-fast-startup-windows-10-a.html. That didn't change anything either.

Edit: I got the Insider Preview Build and i can now turn off the Fast Startup. Unfortunately it did not fix my problem :/

Edit 2: I changed to a HDMI cabel and i can now enter the bios :)
