Hi i am brand new at making a gaming pc and don't even know where to begin and was just wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. I have a pc already that i purchased maybe 3 years ago and if i could take any parts off that to save me money that would be awesome.

Budget Range: 500-800

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming, surfing the internet

Are you buying a monitor: Maybe

Do you need to buy OS: No

Location: United States, Florida

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Additional Comments: Games i'd be playing would be: Divinity original sins 2, Hob, Pubg, swtor. Dont need anything too fancy quiet would be nice but if it cost more then dont worry about it.

You can reuse any HDDs you have, that's probably about it.

Building your own computer is easy. Building it takes 2-3 hours, and installing windows takes about 30mins to 45mins, and after that downloading and installing drivers takes another 30-45 mins. After all that, have it download windows updates at night, it may take a 2-4 passes to get them all.

Installing Windows:

Protip for installing drivers safely, install them one at a time and restart the computer after each install to avoid breaking the OS, which can happen if you try to install them all at once.

So if i reuse my HDD would i not have to buy the Crucial - MX300 275GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive?
And is the CPU Cooler necessary or would i be ok as long as i didnt "overclock"?

The SSD is a rather serious "speed" upgrade for Windows/powering on and off the PC, as well as couple important games you want to load faster.
The HDDs you reuse are to complement it with extra storage space for downloads/pictures/videos and less important games and programs.
I'd get the cooler because having a cool CPU is always a good thing, and the AMD stock cooler isn't super great.

The cooler included in the box is actually quite decent and allows and easy oc to 4ghz without a problem.
