you'll prolly get about the same performance on each depending on task at hand. Generally speaking, more CUDA Cores is better performance out of GPU. 960 has 1024 and 1050ti has 768. However, 1050ti might make up for this with about 10% faster clock speed than 960. Also, you need to consider price point and power consumpter. 960=125w & 1050ti=75w.
