Why do people say the GTX 960 is better than 1050 Ti

Solution
you'll prolly get about the same performance on each depending on task at hand. Generally speaking, more CUDA Cores is better performance out of GPU. 960 has 1024 and 1050ti has 768. However, 1050ti might make up for this with about 10% faster clock speed than 960. Also, you need to consider price point and power consumpter. 960=125w & 1050ti=75w.

like i said, youll prolly see equal performance depending on task. if gaming, it will vary slightly based on each title. both are decent low/mid range cards.

That explains it you were looking at junk sites.
Userbenchmark is an ok tool for seeing where you maybe lacking in performance but not good for comparing as there are alot of variables like people who overclock they don't account for.

Game debate is just plain misleading junk as they use data that is irrelevant when comparing gpus and cpus that use different architectures.
