Hello I have a problem I got a PC custom made because I don't have the time to build one. I want to upgrade my GPU but the place I got it built put the 16 pin connection to the GPU in a open space between the hard drive housing and the case wall where the back of the motherboard is. I opened the case cut the zip tie that was holding the wires in place and routed the 16 pin connection in front of the PCIE slot. I put everything back together but when I try to turn my PC on it gets power for like one second and turns back of. The fans turn on and the LEDs that's all it is doing what should I do. The only thing I did besides move the 16 pin connection was remove a RAM stick but I put it back and made sure it was secure. I don't know what to do my mom is going to be really mad if she finds out I need help fast.

Well, if you installed the new GPU the first thing to do would be to remove it, put back the old one (if any) and see if the PC resumes working.

If it works, you have a clue that not all is lost. If it keeps not working, something got broken in the process.

If without the new GPU works, it could be that the PSU is not powerful enough.
