Hi!
I've been having so many issues with my CPU...
This time, I have delided my CPU and applied cool laboratory liquid metal. The temperature drop was 10c!(40c idle, 80c max on 100% load) I was so happy finally no more overheating!
Well no, but other issues. Now when I fire up AIDA64 i can run the test for 20min and be fine (except once when my computer crashed at 80c). However when I run csgo my computer crashes a ton I get the WATCHDOG_CLOCK error. This isn't only an issue with csgo as it happened when I was running 3DMARK on the cpu test. The odd thing is that after I get these crashes I have to wait for my system to cool down. It helps if I open my case up too.
Is it possible that my CPU temps are wrong? I'm using HWmonitor.
Could it be a separate hardware component on my motherboard? I get 29c on motherboard temp.
Did I incorrectly reseal the cpu and I'm not getting those temps?
Could it be the ram or the GPU?
Worn out PSU?
I'm using an i7 4790k overclocked to 4.5ghz at 1.25v. My ram is at 2400mhz and I have 8gb(XMP is on). And I have a Gtx1080 no overclock.
When I'm not overclocking I get lower temps, the system is definitely more stable but I still get weird lag spikes at some moments.
