Which will perform better in gaming? GIGABYTE GEFORCE GTX 1060 3gb mini OR non-mini?

I would get the larger one. they will perform very similarly if they are clocked the same. the larger unit provides more space for extra cooling and an extra fan. the extra fan is the main bonus feature for me. a single fan solution has that single fan as the main point of failure, dual fan solutions can limp along after a fan failure while replacement fan or card arrives. the extra fan allow more airflow at lower speeds meaning a quieter card. the larger cooler, extra fan, and lower volume make me want to suggest the larger card
