That looks like ddr2 vs ddr3. But a single stick will be slower as it's single channel vs dual. Real world though, you would see no difference in most software and having 8 gb is more beneficial.

I don't know many things about that but is not it connected with MHz?

Faster mhz also increases bandwidth but it's just one piece of the puzzle. Ram bandwidth typically isn't an issue for software and having enough ram helps a lot more for performance. 4gb is the minimum just for an office pc so you'd probably want more.
