Questions about CPU voltages on a 4790K, voltages going up by themselves???

Hey

So recently I've been trying to overclock my CPU to approximately 4.5 or maybe even 4.6...as far as I can go basically without changing my CPU voltage. Now something I noticed is that even though I dont touch my voltage settings in BIOS, they still become higher?
What I do is that i switch AI overclock tuner to manual and then select the option to Sync all cores, change the multiplier and thats it.

I just recently tried a 4.5 ghz overclock, cpu voltages came up to 1.3v according to AIDA64. It was set at 1.3, wouldnt go lower or higher. How do I prevent this from happening? I want the voltages to be automatic but not go above the voltage it would use during stock settings.

Also, CPU VRM voltages....1.8v? It seems extremely high, and even though i havent touched it I'd like to know if its normal?

Im using a 4790K with a Asus Z97-A and a noctua nh-d15 cooler

Thanks!

Not sure if you have a dynamic offset setting in your bios (called Dynamic vCore in my mobo) which I do in the Z170x motherboard, which allows the vcore to go to a max vcore and never over that but still is dynamic..so drops when idleing etc.

Hey, thanks for your reply. If you read through the entire post you’ll see that I didn’t use ez tuning wizard, I did it manually through bios.
