I am building my brother a PC and wanted a little bit of feedback on how I allocated my budget of $1200 (which includes 5.5% sales tax). I am buying this all from Amazon on my Prime card so I cannot buy from anywhere else.

Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro Full Tower - $89.99

Mobo: GIGABYTE GA-Z270P-D3 LGA1151 Intel Z270 - $108.99

CPU: Intel Core i5-7600K - $209.89

Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - $29.99

GPU: MSI GAMING GeForce GTX 1060 6GB - $309.99

PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 750 B1, 80+ BRONZE 750W - $59.99

RAM: Crucial 8GB Single DDR4 2133 - $68.95

SSD: Samsung 850 EVO - 120GB - $79.90

Storage: WD Blue 1TB SATA 6 Gb/s 7200 RPM 64MB - $49.99

OS: Windows 10 - $109.98

Total with sales tax: $1175.73

Thank you to anyone that takes their time to give me some positive feedback.

2x8gb is good (as long as you're buying a 2x8gb kit and not 2 single 8gb dimms) and your motherboard supports up to 3866mhz ram...

PSU is junk, don't buy that one, plus its way larger than you need. a Good 550w unit is more than enough. Corsair CX550M, Seasonic S12II 520, Seasonic G series 550, any of those.

If you can find a way to afford a 2x8gb memory kit at a higher frequency you will benefit. Otherwise at least get a 2x4gb kit at a higher frequency. that will then run in dual channel which makes a performance difference.

My list should mention that my RAM is 2x8 RAM. I think the Mobo only accepts 2133 Ram unless I am mistaken.

Could you reconsider your advice with that info?

Thanks

2400 is actually the base frequency for Kabylake so in running 2133mhz ram you're actually downgrading it even from what it is stock. A nice 3000mhz kit is your best bet.
