does i need to hard format my micro sd card for first time use? need help ASAP

greetings.
i bought new 64gb micro sd card (exfat ftom default) do i need hard format (not quick format) before im gonna use it for transfer my musics files? i heard about to do this thing to avoid corrupted or another failure.
i will use my micro sd for my music player
need help

Even though there are only so many multiple thousands of writes for such devices, I guess a one-time full format to ensure reliability of all available bytes can't hurt. However, I recommend two such flash drives if you're going to use them as backups and/or sneaker-netting.
