Most powerful CPU my motherboard can handle?

Hi guys, I currently have a:

ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0 AM3+

I am currently interested in Music production and Flight simulator. What is the most powerful processor my motherboard can handle? Seems like my FX-8320 is slowing down

That is basically the same processor you have now, theres nothing on the AM3+ socket that is worth the money over what you have now.
